Discover The Recipe

Light, fluffy and tender these Orange Ginger Muffins are perfectly spiced and with a zesty glaze and delicious streusel topping. The bright, fresh flavors of orange paired with the slightly spicy and aromatic flavors of ginger are a match made in heaven and will really amp the flavor on your next batch of muffins. These muffins come together quickly with an oat streusel topping that adds a special touch and contrasting texture. The orange glaze is a sweet and zesty coating that cascades down the fluffy muffins to complete this quick bread and deliver a satisfying bite.

For this recipe we used Piquant Post’s Gingerbread Spice bend to add a classic gingerbread flavor profile to this two-bite treat. Nothing represents the holiday season like gingerbread – whether it’s in the form of a sweet pastry, edible houses or a warm, frothy latte. As colder fall months settle in in the northern hemisphere, having gingerbread spice around makes it easy to sprinkle cheerful flavor in many dishes. Our gingerbread blend amplifies the gingery notes and you can use this spice sparingly in your recipes to get great flavor. Further complementing the ginger, is a set of aromatic and warming spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. Feel free to add fresh fruits like blueberries or raspberries for another layer of fresh flavor. Enjoy these orange ginger muffins for breakfast with coffee or as a light dessert after dinner.
